Scottish songs of Robert Burns, an Irish duet by Beethoven, and songs of Britten, Noel Coward, Elgar, Quilter, and Vaughan-Williams. You'll hear Metropolitan Opera New England Regional finalist MICHELLE JOHNSON, called "divine" by the Globe's Richard Dyer, as well as SUSAN COOKE, who sings with "an emotionally charged soprano that can range from the poignant...to the bitter..." (Houston Chronicle), and tenor BRENDAN DALY, winner of a Tanglewood fellowship for this coming summer. more
